Introduction

Hi! I'm a 37 yrs old, a mom w/ a busy caree. Not alot of time. I lost ALOT of weight a few years back on Atkins. While I kept most of it off, some has creeped back slowly, and that just can't continue.

What is the biggest obstacle you face in completing your challenge? How will you overcome this obstacle to complete your challenge?

Staying motivated. The couch can look so damn comfy after a long day at work. Then there's housework, homework and dinner to manage every evening. If I have to be responsible to share my progress with others at meetups, that may be my motivator.

What are your greatest strengths and how do you feel you can use them to help you successfully complete the Body-for-LIFE Challenge?

I have often failed of see what's reasonable or taken small measured steps in life. that said, not knowing that a goal is unreasonable or impossible has helped achieve what other people told me was ridiculous. I tend to think I can do anything.

What are your weaknesses and how will you work around these to complete your Body-for-LIFE Challenge?

I am not a big cook, but convenience foods and eating out are part of the problem. I am not a regular excersizer. My son (10 1/2) LOVES to workout, so we will have to make excersize family time. The good weather coming should help.

Who in your life inspires you the most and why?

My Dad. He worked full time while completing his PhD and raising a family. He didnt take care of his health (BIG SMOKER) and recently had a heart attack & stroke. He has made amazing strides because he "wants to set a good example for his kids"
